Cochrane is building its ecosystem to support entrepreneurs, business owners and organizational leaders through programming, events, collaboration and conversation. We’re always asking the question “what do our leaders need?” and seek to fill gaps in opportunities for learning and growth locally wherever possible.
Over time, we hope to grow this page to reflect our local and regional resources that support community based organizations, entrepreneurs, innovators and traditional businesses (doing non-traditional things)!

Starting Out
Entrepreneurs & Leaders benefit from community and regional resources that support ideation (does your idea solve a problem? Will people pay for your solution?), foundational business planning, mentorship, training and connections with others in the community. Note that BusinessLink, included below, has unique expertise with newcomer and Indigenous startups and entrepreneurs.

As one of the fastest growing communities in Canada, Cochrane is full of entrepreneurial spirit and action, and our goal is to be a catalyst for economic and social growth that supports our unique geographic position in the Bow Valley and our history of western hospitality and small town charm.
