Nathan Klassen

Nathan Klassen is Board Chair and a founding member of Innovate Cochrane. Apart from his strong commitment to community building, Nathan brings a wealth of experience in organizational effectiveness. With a professional background in continuous improvement, operational excellence and change management, this  path eventually led to a deep dive into innovation and how it translates - at a personal level, within organizations and ultimately what it looks like at a community level.

Nathan has played a leading role in creation of the Community Innovation Ecosystem cohort program, and Innovate Cochrane's Community Innovators Spotlight speaker series.

MARK EATON

Mark Eaton has a strong history of entrepreneurship and community involvement in Canada. He is currently the CEO & Founder of The Corner Coworking & Co-warehousing in Cochrane, Alberta, a venture he established in 2017, with its first location opening in 2018.

He also founded the Cochrane Coworking Community in July 2016, which was dedicated to promoting collaborative workspaces in Cochrane, AB.

Additionally, Mark has served as a Board Member at Innovate Cochrane since July 2022 and as a Board Member for the Cochrane & District Chamber of Commerce since March 2020.

JESSIE PEPIN

Jessie is the Assistant Director at the Cochrane Public Library, she brings experience in information management, operations management, and nonprofit leadership. She has a strong background in organizational strategy and governance, and has contributed to strengthening organizations that serve the community. Her board experience includes serving with the Stockmen's Memorial Foundation and Archive, the Library Association of Alberta, and the Rocky Mountain Rotary. 

Jessie holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in psychology with a minor in business administration and a Master's of Library and Information Science from the University of Western Ontario. 

Jessie is committed to lifelong learning and community service, she believes in the power of engagement, participation, and giving back. Her professional mission is to foster strong, accessible, and well-managed community resources that empower individuals and organizations alike. 

JULI ROHL

Juli Rohl specializes in creating strategic solutions that activate stakeholders and drive lasting impact. With a career spanning geology, business strategy, and sustainability, she brings a systems-thinking approach to solving complex challenges. As the Founder of Revivis Consulting, Juli helps communities, organizations, and industries navigate change through visioning, strategic planning, and execution.

At Innovate Cochrane, Juli applies her expertise to support community-driven innovation, bringing people, ideas, and resources together to co-create solutions that are both practical and visionary. Her ability to inspire action and foster long-term impact makes her a vital contributor to the organization’s mission.

ERIC MOHUN

Thirty years ago, Eric began what has been a fascinating career working in the energy sector, primarily in the field of Indigenous and Community Relations. Engaging with communities across the country has allowed Eric to understand and appreciate the diverse ideas and lifestyles which exist in small and large centres.

Recently retired, Eric decided to give back to the communities that have gave him so much during his career. Eric is passionate about collaboration and identifying opportunities to build community and local organizations, while connecting like-minded people in advancing economies and community.
